Look 8 - Aengus

God of Love and Dreams

The Aengus Groom Look is a tribute to the Celtic god of love and dreams – an ensemble that not only dresses but enchants. Sensual, romantic, and elegant in its lightness, it embodies a style that has become rare: boldly delicate, yet thoroughly masculine.

The Origin of the Blessing of Áine & Aengus

It is said that once, in the green hills of Ireland,
the goddess Áine, guardian of summer and the sun,
met the young god Aengus, lord of love and dreams.

They met between day and night,
where the mist of the Otherworld kisses the land
and light marries shadow.
In that moment, the wind sang a new song –
a song of love, purity, and constancy.

The fairies of the Hill People (the Sídhe) heard this sound
and wove from it an ancient blessing:
for those who love each other like sun and mist,
bright and tender, yet strong and true.

Since that time, this “Beannacht Áine & Aengus” has been spoken
when two souls unite in light and faith in one another.
It carries the breath of the Otherworld –
and blesses every love that is both gentle and steadfast.

The CLAUDIER team will be happy to answer your questions and is available Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
